The student in the Nail Technician program at Fortis participates in a full program of nail beautification and artistry, which prepares the student for entry-level employment to become a nail technician. The student receives instruction and gains practice in all phases of nail artistry including: nail structure, manicures, pedicures, and the chemicals and products used in the nail care profession.

In most states, the Board of Cosmetology requires a nail specialty registration after graduation.
