I wanted to become a medical assistant because I wanted a secure career instead of just having a job.

So in family medicine I had the ability to work in pediatrics, adult medicine as well as geriatrics and I was able to utilize my skills, drawing blood, performing vital signs, assisting with procedures and it gave me a lot of experience.

I would want people to know and understand that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to succeed at the goal. Once you set your mind to something you have to be ready to do the work to achieve it.

So a lot of people that I talk to say oh well I am too old or I am getting too a little up there to go back to school, but I say you are never too old or never too young to learn.
