I have always been very creative, I have always done peoples hair just for friends, updos and that type of thing for prom and all that, and I decided why am I not getting paid for this, so I decided to go to Fortis.

I am a licensed cosmetologist, I do hair and makeup. The thing I enjoy most about it is I get to make my own schedule.
I would say I have overcome a lot. With having children it is not impossible but it is hard. I saw many people that I was in school with they would drop out because of having kids and going to work and all that. It wasn’t easy but I made it though and I would want people to… once you make it through it is so worth it, like it is so worth it once you are done.
