I wanted to get into medical because I knew it was something that wasn’t going anywhere because there’s always going to be a need for it.

I’m an x-ray tech. I just enjoy it cause I get to meet different people every day and take their x-ray but also get to know them and see a lot of people I know because I am from here.

My Fortis education has really helped me make it through life. Before that I didn’t have job because the factory I worked for left, so I didn’t know what I was going to do so I went into x-ray and I’ve not ever had a problem finding a job, there are plenty of jobs out there.

My family they’re very proud of me. They’re very proud that I found something I really enjoy doing and be able to make a good living at it. They’re very proud of that.
