Before I worked with special needs individuals helping them to do everyday tasks.

I needed to make the change because the department that I worked for closed down and I’m saying, wow, what am I going to do?

I’m a recent graduate of Fortis College.  At the time I was on unemployment benefits so it gave me really the perfect opportunity to start Fortis.

I had to do it.  I needed a job.  I wanted a new career.  I wanted a new start.  

It was a learning environment and not just learning.  It’s learning with hands on, learning with compassion, learning with spirit, learning with building you up as you build yourself up and, wow, it’s just great.
