Specialized firms that have large teams of forensics and security experts on staff often contract out to businesses that do not have their own teams. This means that you will be able to work in many different environments and with many different companies over the course of your career. In addition, you might find that you one day want to go into business on your own In the field of computer and data forensics, you will find that you have different types of options. You could choose to work with law enforcement. Many law enforcement agencies are realizing that the need for their own computer forensic specialists is at an all time high and is not going to diminish. Working with law enforcement can provide you with a different set of challenges that can help to make your job more interesting.
