We extend warm greetings of the season to all our students and staff! We hope everyone has the opportunity to spend time with loved ones, and we wish a safe journey to those of you traveling during this holiday season.
The holidays are a time for giving back to the community and to those less fortunate than us. If you’d like to make a donation to charity, here are a few organizations you may be interested in supporting:
Help make Christmas sparkle a little brighter by donating new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children.
Other ways to donate include financial contributions and sending friends and family holiday-themed greeting cards or e-cards, among others.
Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through services including providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and opportunities for underprivileged children.
You can help by donating money or items such as clothing, furniture and toys.
Your financial contribution can help treat children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Humane Society of the United States (or your local Humane Society)
Help the Humane Society continue providing animal rescue and care, animal advocacy and a variety of services to local shelters and rescue organizations, helping more than 100,000 animals each year.
Your donation can help protect furry friends facing abuse and neglect across the country and around the world.
Support American heroes that have been wounded while protecting our nation’s freedom.
Your financial contribution can help the Wounded Warrior Project raise awareness about the needs of injured service members, help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
Remember, if finances are tight, you can always volunteer your time!
