Sabrina Overy

Associate Degree in Nursing

Sabrina always dreamed of helping others, but for many years her focus was on raising her family and supporting her husband. After her father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2023, she witnessed the compassion and dedication of the nurses caring for him and their family. During one of their final conversations, her father encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, reminding her that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Inspired by his words, Sabrina enrolled at Fortis and began working toward a career in healthcare. Despite balancing nursing school with raising three children, she persevered through the challenges with determination and support from her family. Today, Sabrina is proud to be living her dream as both a mother and a healthcare professional, honoring her father's memory while showing her children the value of hard work, resilience, and following their passions.
