FORTIS College in Centerville, OH is located on a modern, nine-acre campus that  occupies a 56,800 square foot building in which all classes and labs are held.  The campus includes two nursing labs, a science lab, a high fidelity human patient simulations lab, pharmacy lab, crime lab, IT lab, dental lab, paralegal lab, and a two story 'stick house' for electrical and HVAC - Refrigeration installation skills training, along with more than 200 computer work stations and in excess of 2,000 volumes and periodicals.  The campus recently expanded to an additional 22,000-square-foot building adjacent to its main campus location.

Cyber Security is one of the fastest-growing career fields today. Security for IT systems and critical data is a major concern for government, financial institutions, healthcare facilities and many other businesses. The Cyber Security and Forensics program at Fortis College in Centerville prepares students to support these information security needs. This curriculum will prepare students for following certifications: CompTIA; A+, Network+, Security+, and selected Microsoft certifications. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to setup, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software for desktop computer systems, network infrastructure equipment and software systems.

FORTIS College also offers diploma programs in Practical Nursing, Dental Assisting, and HVAC/R.  Students can earn an Associate Degree in Nursing, Medical Assisting, Cyber Security/Forensics or Paralegal. Fortis College Centerville campus offers training recognized by the American Heart Association to people in Centerville, Dayton, and the greater Dayton, OH metro area in a wide variety of continuing education courses. The Centerville campus also provides continuing education courses in Phlebotomy to prepare students to become a phlebotomist. Fortis College Centerville is a CompTIA Academy in their CompTIA Authorized Partner Program.  We offer several continuing education programs for IT professionals.  Each is 40 hours in length and offered in the evenings (two weeks) and weekends (two weekends).

Our campus has also been internationally recognized as a Linux Professional Institute Academic Partner, the first school in North America to achieve that designation.

    ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
    This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
    The State Tested Nursing Assistant program at the Fortis College Centerville campus will provide instruction to help students prepare to become a Nursing Aide or Nurse Assistant. Students will develop a working knowledge for providing health care for individuals who are elderly, ill, or simply unable to perform daily living activities on their own so they become qualified to become a CNA or STNA.
