I chose to attend Fortis because I knew I needed a change. I was going from dead end job to dead end job and I was not able to progress in whatever I did. I worked at a few places; I worked in a clothing store, I worked in a gas station, I worked at convenience stores and they were just all dead end to me.
Right now I am a medical assistant and I work in an orthopedic and neurology department. I care for patients and I triage them, I see what is wrong with them, I tend to them and just communicate with them well.
What I enjoy about my job is the patient contact. I love delivering very good patient care; I love listening to the patient, to their concerns to what is wrong with them to what they need.
