- Schedule: A nurse's schedule is can be chaotic. A nurse can work long hours or work per diem. You are able to choose how much or how little you want to work. A nurse may be in high demand to cover shifts for those who are not available. If you would like more work hours, they will likely be available to you.
- Course of study: Think about what type of nursing you would like to study. If you want to specialize in a particular area, find out which courses would be most helpful to you. Think about your long term goals and plan ahead for them.
