Fortis College, Ravenna located at 653 Enterprise Parkway will host its Fourth Annual Lunch with the Easter Bunny event on Saturday, March 31st from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.

Approximately 200-250 people attend each year and a lunch of hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, chips and fruit is served by the Fortis College Honor Society students. There is a craft workshop where each child can create personalized photo frames. The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is another favorite activity where the participants are divided by age group to assure a fun time for all. Of course, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance, though the identity of the bunny remains a secret.

“This event is the brainchild of Melissa Koher human resource manager, a member of the Fortis team for 10 years,” explained President Sonya Hartburg. “We are a proud part of Ravenna and enjoy the opportunity of hosting an event that is open to the greater community.”

Besides the free admission, there is an additional charitable component. Raffle tickets are sold at the Easter lunch and all proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

“My favorite part is watching the children’s expressions when the Easter Bunny appears,” explained Melissa Koher. “It’s a magical moment that makes this annual event a winner.”
