The reason why I wanted to come to college is because I raised my children and that is what I wanted to do. I chose Fortis and I chose the medical assisting program because I have family that has medical problems and it had intrigued me and I wanted to learn more about it.

My Fortis education has opened up my eyes to things I have never seen before and never experienced and it has brought me to grow into a better person, into wanting to help other people and it has helped me.

I had many concerns about being out of the school system for a long time. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to do it, but I did and I did it great.
