This was my time to shine and I had to take everthing I could from this experience. Every question I asked, and there were a lot, was answered fully. With that extended support I was able to start not only my new career as a Certified Massage Therapist but my new business.
Since attending Fortis and graduation, I have had great life changes. My attitute, my interpersonal skills, my sense of being and my goals have become more structured and secure.
I was extremely satisfied with the education I received in terms of content and interaction with the faculty. You will find that the teaching staff is a combination of industry experience and very approachable personalities.
As a graduate RN here at Fortis College I must say, my journey has been a long one. I’ve been an LPN for four years and walking through the door I thought I had all the answers, and the only person that was going to take care of me was me. I had this assumption that the next fifteen months of my life was going to be easy, I was absolutely wrong.
The skills and knowledge I gained in the Biotechnology program enabled me to obtain an interesting and challenging position as a research assistant with a medical diagnostic company.
I signed up for Fortis almost a year before I started in January 2010. When I walked into orientation, I saw an old friend from nearly 17 years ago and I knew I would be okay. Through the last year and a half, we’ve lost a few students and gained a few more in our class.
I strongly encourage anyone seeking self-improvement and career enhancement to enroll in Fortis College.
The teachers you have are incredible. I could not believe the experience and knowledge that they shared with their classes. Although I expected qualified teachers, my experience has surpassed my expectations.
The hands on learning was great as well. Each module transitioned smoothly into the next. I don't think I could have had a better learning experience anywhere else.
I entered the doors of Fortis College a Licensed Practical Nurse. I had a full time job, family, and responsibilities, but even more than that I had a huge desire to be a Registered Nurse, to further my career in Nursing.
