The ADN nursing program at Fortis is designed to prepare students for entry-level postions as a registered nurse. Upon graduation, Fortis students are prepared for to sit for the licensure exam to become a registered nurse.
Fortis also offers allied health and medical career training programs in Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, and

The Electronic Systems Technology program prepares you to install, service and repair at variety of low voltage electrical applications including home theater, security and alarm systems, cable, wireless, satellite, and more. The growth of in-home audio, video and fiber will continue as components continue to become smaller and more affordable in price.
The second program in Skilled Trades at Fortis College is the HVAC program. Students train to become HVAC technicians by learning to install and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. With the extreme weather in South Carolina, HVAC mechanics are necessary to service heating and cooling systems in residences and commerical businesses. Some in the HVAC field eventually chose the freedom to work as independent contractors.
