Other allied health and medical career education programs at FORTIS College include Surgical Technology, Pharmacy Technology and Health Information Technology.  Surgical technologists work alongside doctors as members of the operating room team.  Under the supervision of a pharmacist, pharmacy technicians read and fill prescriptions.  While health information technicians use medical software to classify and manage medical data and insurance information.
