FORTIS has by far made the biggest impact on my career today. Prior to attending FORTIS I was much undecided where or how to obtain a career. Like most, I knew I wanted to go to college to be successful, but I didn’t know where to begin and I was running out of time.
This was my time to shine and I had to take everthing I could from this experience. Every question I asked, and there were a lot, was answered fully. With that extended support I was able to start not only my new career as a Certified Massage Therapist but my new business.
The school administration, instructors and my student colleagues were very supportive in helping me through. Now I’ve done with the program, I’m looking forward to a future in the HVAC or related industries.
Since attending Fortis and graduation, I have had great life changes. My attitude, my interpersonal skills, my sense of being and my goals have become more structured and secure.
My instructor Jennifer Callahan is a wonderful, wonderful teacher. She makes sure that you know your stuff. She is so patient, that I am left speechless. I am fifty years old and she is the best teacher I've ever had.
I had a good experience with the program, challenging at time but the class I was in was very close and we pulled together and helped each other out. The instructors were very good and very patient with us. Overall it was a positive experience.
Through it all, I had a wonderful time at Fortis College. I made lots of friends and the staff is wonderful and very supportive.
Coming to Fortis College really did change the way I look at life and being a successful person. A lot of people don’t think they can afford higher level education but when you put your mind to it and make the sacrifice – it will work in the end.
