The skills you can learn in our cardiovascular technology program include assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures, monitoring patients’ blood pressure and heart rate during the procedure with EKG equipment, preparing and monitoring patients during open heart surgery and during the insertion of pacemakers and stents, and administering anesthesia.
