COSMETOLOGY
In Florida, Fortis offers beauty school training at our Pensacola campus. The Cosmetology Program prepares the student to take the cosmetology license exam to be capable of pursuing a career as a cosmetology professional, working in a variety of styling salon environments or operating a private cosmetology business.
SKILLS TO HELP ADVANCE YOUR CAREER
Students will take courses that will help them acquire an in-depth competency in fundamental skills such as haircutting, creative hair styling, hair coloring, modern nail technology, skin care, facials, salon management and more. Students will also learn the importance of developing positive client relationships and how to generate referral and repeat customers. Students acquire skills through practical exercises, group processes, lectures and discussions, and hands-on technique practice sessions taught by experienced instructors.
