NEW FORTIS COLLEGE-MOBILE CAMPUS ELEVATES STUDENT EXPERIENCE TO NEW LEVEL

Campus Helps Address South Alabama’s Career Education Needs Tuesday, August 19, 2014 1:43 PM

When students enter their new Fortis College campus in Mobile, Ala., they experience a series of transformative moments. It’s all about the new surroundings and enhanced learning environment.

In response to steady enrollment and increased demand for programs, Fortis College has moved into a new facility.

The new campus is located at 7033 Airport Boulevard, Mobile, AL 36608. Although less than six miles and just 11 minutes from its former location, the campus offers a world of new educational opportunities and an engaging learning environment.

The campus is a completely remodeled, purpose-built, stand-alone facility. Students benefit from a modern, fully equipped facility with more space, all new classrooms, and contemporary laboratories outfitted with industry-standard equipment – the same type of technology graduates can expect to use when working in the field. Additionally, the facility provides more office and workspaces for administration, faculty and staff.

“The new campus setting provides an environment that’s intended to make students feel special, which they are, and encourage them in their studies,” says Fortis College in Mobile President Joseph Dalto. “It all begins with the setting in which they learn. These facilities are designed to stimulate them so they become successful graduates who have all the tools to reach their full potential.”

The new campus offers all the programs previously available at Fortis College-Mobile. The college also offers career placement services, financial aid for qualified students, and continuing education courses that include Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR.

Mr. Dalto believes the expansive new campus creates an environment that builds a bridge to success for students, enriches both the available technology and faculty teaching options, and reinforces “The Fortis Difference,” a measurable approach to providing students the highest quality education experience.
