Healthcare Management Education Program at Fortis

Due the ever-increasing expansion and diversification of our healthcare system, educated managers are required to help ensure smooth business operations. The objective of this associate degree program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to seek entry-level healthcare management positions.

Designed specifically for students who have some practical experience working in healthcare and have completed a diploma program, such as medical assisting, dental assisting, medical billing and coding, or medical office administration, the Fortis Healthcare Management program helps students gain the knowledge and skills they need to advance. Successful completion of an allied health diploma program is required for admission.

The comprehensive Healthcare Management program consists of courses in business, healthcare management and general education. Business courses include instruction in management, accounting, finance, organization behavior and human resource management. General education courses help students develop and refine oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and more.  If you currently hold a diploma in a healthcare field as mentioned above and are interested in advancing your skills, please call today to speak with an admissions team representative about getting started in our Medical Healthcare management program.
