Allied Health Management

Associates of Occupational Science Degree Program Medical Assistant Allied Health Managers work in doctors' offices, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. While managing and supervising the facility is their primary responsibility, their duties may also include typing, filing, handling telephone calls and appointments, maintaining patient records, filling prescriptions, and office care.

Students will receive training that prepares them for entry-level employment as a Medical Assistant with a goal of advancing into supervisory and management level positions within the allied health community.

Students will receive training that prepares them for entry level employment as a Pharmacy Technician with a goal of advancing into supervisory and management level positions within the allied health/pharmacy community.
